Ally Celebrates Seven Years in Logistics

This past week Ally Logistics celebrated its seven-year anniversary in the freight transportation industry. Founded in October 2012, Ally has grown immensely since then and 2019 was its most successful year yet. Ally kicked off the year, by moving into a brand new renovated building in Grand Rapids, Michigan. 

The new home to Ally features room for up to 400 employees, sophisticated top of the line technology and is just a short drive from downtown. In 2019, Ally was voted as one of West Michigan’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work for, was featured in Crain’s Business Magazine as one of “The Coolest Places To Work “ in Michigan, and topped off the award list by placing 120th on the Inc. 5000 list. 

Not only is Ally the 120th fastest growing company in America, but it’s also the fifth fastest-growing company in Michigan and the ninth fastest-growing logistics company in the United States.

Employees this month were treated to a fun day of competitive company games that included a company-wide cornhole tournament complete with Ally boards and bean bags, a KanJam Tournament, and the longest putt competition. Winners and runner ups were treated to generous gift cards and tickets to a Grand Rapids Griffins game.

While the games went on all day, Ally employees had a catered lunch and were able to enjoy a happy hour near the end of the day to celebrate the hard work that the Ally team has put in this year.
